Dr. Seema Sharma-Sayal is an Orthodontist in Richmond Hill specializing in the orthodontic treatment of children, adolescents and adults.
Dr. Sharma-Sayal completed her university and dental training at the University of Toronto. After a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree, she went on to earn numerous awards and distinctions and graduated with honours from the Faculty of Dentistry in 1992. Dr. Sharma-Sayal subsequently completed a residency at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. After working as a general dentist for four years, she returned to U of T to complete her specialist training in orthodontics, graduating in 1999.
Throughout her residency, Dr. Sharma-Sayal was an Orthodontics instructor for the undergraduate students at the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto. She loves teaching and lectures about orthodontics to dentists. Dr. Sharma-Sayal also gives regular presentations about dental health and orthodontics at various schools.
A practicing orthodontist for over 15 years, Dr. Sharma-Sayal is proud to look after her patients at Bayview Hill Orthodontics. As active members of the Richmond Hill Community, Dr. Sharma-Sayal and her family volunteer at the Richmond Hill Food Bank. She has also spent many hours in the local arenas, pools and soccer fields, as her children have been involved with hockey, ringette, soccer, basketball, baseball and more recently volleyball. Bayview Hill Orthodontics is an active supporter of local sports teams and charities.
Dr. Sharma-Sayal is passionate not only about orthodontics but also about swimming, scuba diving and tennis but above all she loves spending time with her husband and two children.
